Work With Purpose, Print With Pride

The Awesome Company is a custom screen printing studio that puts people first, specifically, adults with autism. We’re reimagining what inclusion means in the workplace by creating systems, support, and culture that allow everyone to thrive.

Founded in Grove City, serving the greater Columbus area, our bold mission is twofold:

Close-up of a grid pattern with black background and light blue intersecting lines.
  • Line drawing of a T-shirt on a yellow background

Deliver high-quality, custom apparel for businesses, schools, teams, and events. without unnecessary minimums.

  • Smiling face drawn on a yellow, star-shaped background.

Prove that hiring neurodivergent talent isn’t a charitable cause; it’s a competitive advantage.

Whether we’re printing a handful of shirts for your startup or fulfilling a 500-piece order for a university, we’re doing it with a workforce that reflects what the future of business should look like: inclusive, equitable, and damn good at what we do.

We’re not just making apparel.

We’re making work for people who’ve been overlooked far too long.

We’re not a charity. And we’re definitely not a side project. We’re a social enterprise and professional screen print studio with a perfect 5-star Google Review rating and a team that proves inclusion is a business model.

Autistic professionals are embedded across every part of our production process, from design to delivery. We invest in accessible tools, custom workflows, and thoughtful training to make sure every employee can do their best workβ€”their way.

These are real jobs, with real wages, creating real value for our customers and our company.

Our Story

The Awesome Company was founded in 2016 with a simple but powerful belief: adults with autism deserve opportunities that recognize their talent, intelligence, and drive.

From day one, our team has prioritized thoughtful design, quality production, and exceptional customer service while building a work environment that embraces neurodiversity, values each team member’s unique strengths, and creates space for everyone to thrive.

We’re proud to be a business where collaboration, optimism, and creativity fuel every project. Every shirt we print is made with care and packed with intention.

Meet the Founder

Jacquie didn’t set out to run just another print shop; she wanted to build a social enterprise. In 2016, she founded The Awesome Company with a simple conviction: adults with autism deserve more than token opportunities. They deserve meaningful work, real skills, and the dignity of a paycheck. Every piece of custom apparel that leaves the shop is printed and processed by our dedicated team, which includes autistic adults who are trained, supported, and celebrated for their craft. For Jacquie, β€œawesome” isn’t just confetti, it’s the pride of being seen, valued, and included.

Her mission quickly grew beyond custom printing. Next door to the shop is The Awesome Gallery, a space she created for neurodivergent artists to exhibit and sell their artwork. She also initiated inclusive community events, such as β€œMorning Creatives,” monthly art sessions that foster friendship and fun, and the β€œMovie of the Month Club,” which provides a calm space for people to connect without the distractions of the outside world. Whether building a regional custom apparel business, curating art exhibits, or in her earlier career in art and wellness entrepreneurship, Jacquie has always worked from the same belief: belonging changes everything. Through The Awesome Company, she’s proving every day that purpose and profit not only can coexist, they can make each other stronger.
